I don’t know why there are so many bad reviews for this company? Yes, I’ll Be the first to admit that I spend way too much money on the Golf Rival app, but what apps don’t have in-app purchases anymore. I have only one game on my iPad Pro that I was sure would be removed when I updated to iOS 17 that is free play. The rest have in-app purchases and unfortunately they can’t stay in business without these purchases. I’m not a snobby guy who gets what he wants and doesn’t have to worry about paying for it later. I would guess that, yes they have bots as I have seen a playerr that has no picture and they make an impossible shot even though the wind ring is way off the target. But this is just about the same situation with any other company that has apps that also have in-app purchases. The game clearly tells you what information they collect on the players and what information they gather about the players. So, it’s up to the individual if they want to download the app or not. In this day and age of the internet, companies know way more about you than you probably would rather they not know. But it’s not just Zynga that collects this information, but every site you visit, buy from, and look at or have an account with. I finally reached VIP status and I am very pleased and excited about what to expect from this game. Unfortunately, I am currently in NC because my older brother had a car accident that landed him in the ICU. I was terrified to fly to Charlotte and our sister had to get time off work to come to Charlotte, and she still has not gotten here yet, but she is going to fly back to her home after the Hotel room runs out and then return to his house near Charlotte and help him with his recovery. I’m currently dealing with my husband’s melanoma diagnosis which is getting better now and I reached out to Zynga about loosing my VIP status as I had just received an invitation from them for their VIP membership. I let them know about the situation with my brother and they reached back out to me and said that it wouldn’t affect my VIP status, but it might affect my ranking. I am not buying any in-app purchases while I’m traveling and I’m using a VPN, but I still don’t want someone getting my credit card information as it has happened before in like 2015 at a hospital and they ran my Amex card up to over $8K, but Amex took care of the charges. Unfortunately with internet and the economy completely changing daily, they don’t and can’t afford to do this anymore. It’s also cardholders who have made false claims for free stuff. I have never had any app reach out to me personally and show empathy and compassion for the issue that I am currently experiencing. I was completely taken back by this and it has never happened with any other app or service for that matter, but it was sincere and very much appreciated that they cared about my concerns and my situation. I’m sure people will say, “Well, they don’t want to loose a paying customer!” I don’t think that had anything to do with them being able to be sympathetic to my situation. People who play games on their devices need to start getting use to paying to play as Apple is not allowing these apps on their devices for free! I’m sure Apple charges these developers a hefty fee to use their App Store. Blame Apple, I have a serious love/hate relationship with Apple and I have said that I am not going to buy any more Apple products, but just bought around 5K in new Apple devices. Frankly, Zynga has been a good company and have great Apps and Superior Customer Service in my experience and I will continue to play their games and support their customer service team as they respond to your questions regrading the games of theirs that I play!
